Hi, i am a filipino Interior designer and i am planning to work in Qatar.
Is Php45k or 3700 qar / salary ok?

Hi Melai,

Definitely not enough. Weigh the benefits and breakdown.
You must at least have spare for other expenses like eating out, travel, extra classes. In dong so you will enjoy Qatar more. Why is it important to have spare for extracurricular activities it is because the reality work will eventually dull your mind so you have to make time to pamper yourself through activities like dance class or language class (that is what I'm doing by the way to retain my sanity and to keep me grounded ) hehehe.
So try t haggle and increase your net worth besides interior design seemed a very lucrative job. :)

Saludos!

Thank you for your reply Ms Mareeza
Well yeah, after some research, i have found out the minimum salary for interior designer should be not less than 12,000.00 QR.
But all of hirings i have found were not even exceeding 3k QR.
3k salary just levels POEA salary guide for Beauticians, Office staffs, etc.

I will try to convince the employer to give me a salary fair enough. (If ill pass through)

Thank you very much. :)
