Transferring one University to another university in KSA

Dear all

I joined in a university as an assistant professor two months ago Now i got an excellent offer from another university in saudi itself. My question is

1. Is it possible to transfer my IQAMA or directly i can join that university

2. Final exit: Although i got final exit, is it mandatory that i suppose to work on Saudi for Six months then only i can go out and get a new visa.

Kindly help me in this regard

Especially the six months stay in Saudi Arabia is important then only i can get a visa? Is it true? Please help me?

Also give me the possibility smooth move from one university to another?

As you mentioned that you have just spent 02 months with them which means that you are still in probation period. There is a slight chance to utilize this period and tell them that you do not want to continue and negotiate terms of leaving.
Regarding your question to wait for Six Months, I think now it is no more required. I hope other members at the forum will help you better.

I agree but I'd bet my last halala they won't transfer his igama. Why should they? And, in fact, I've heard of companies requiring the employee to pay several months salary as a penalty plus their own ticket home.

But hey, he can always give it a try and find out!
