Telecom Technician - Family status

Hi,

I've a job offer in KSA and a Telecom technician visa will be offered to me.

I've a M.Sc degree in Comp Science from Pakistan.

Just want to know if I can easily get family Iqama based on Telecom technician and M.Sc degree. (Although there is no mention of telecom in my degree)

Someone was mentioning that recently a family iqama was rejected with same combination Telecom Technician + M.Sc Comp Sc. (I'm trying to get contact of that guy)

Can anyone share his latest experience (Oct, Nov) getting family iqama visa as Telecom technician.

WELL YOU CAN ASK YOUR COMPANY WEITHER THEY WILL ALLOW YOU TO HAVE FAMILY STATUS IN YOUR CONTRACT.

At least the company saying that they will give me family status.

My concern is for family visa due to any new rules for Telecom Technician and the mismatch in my degree and profession. (Degree in Comp Sc and profession of Telecom)

I know many people having family status with this combination but got upset due to news of family visa recently rejected for a person with same combination.
