Hello,

I Served a Technical Apprenticeship in rotating equipment in the UK, i have a Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Mechanical Engineering and a NVQ Level 3 Engineering Technical Support (Quality Control), I have over 10 years experience in my field,

I have accepted a position in KSA as a Mechanical Field Service Engineer, and i'm starting the visa process, from what i understand of the Saudi Council of Engineers, any one with the title engineer has to have a degree in the field they are being employed for, so i'm looking at the technician route as one of the specific technician roles that requires joining the SCE, i'm trying to understand if my HNC is enough for a diploma on the technician route, i can't find a list of qualifications, that determine what Level this diploma is,

Has anyone been down this route with HNC or an NVQ level 3

Cheers

@steg16

      If your engineering diploma is a 4 yr. degree their would be no problem.

      To be safe on your side apply SCE while you are still at your country otherwise things get nervous when you do it in Saudi Arabia.
