Hi we have been looking for reputable companies to transport certain items of furniture and other household items from London to Mauritius.

Can anyone recommend any company?

Is it difficult to collect containers once it’s arrived in port?

we have just moved from spain to mauritius

make shore you get a company that does door to door

make an invetory off all you have and its value

if you are moving perminantly make shore your goods arrive after you have your visa or you will need to pay tax

or you then claim the tax back after you get your visa

once your container arrives you will go to the port and report to a customs officer for a short interview and sign some papers . our removal company provided an agent to help with this although it is not complicated

you then pay a fee for your container to leave the port which is then returned when your container comes back to the port

from arrival to delivery is within a week

if you have any questions feel free to contact me in private message happy to give you any info i can

@BowcoH

Thank you for responding so swiftly.

Some sound advice which is noted.

It’s good to know the type of company we need to be searching for.

We were concern that it would be very complicated to get this done, but sounds very straight forward.

Once again thank you and if I need further information I will contact you privately.
