How important is the border number? I'm on tourist visa and my border number isn't written on my passport nor is it coming up when I try to get it from the Absher website.

I believe your border number is derived from your visa. As long as you have you visa I believe your fine.

It is only really necessary for you to sign up for things e.g. visitor mobile SIM etc. No issue in entering or leaving.
