We're looking for a France Country Manager to join our close knit international team. You will report to our CEO and Founder and manage a team of 2-3 full-time members of our team.

You will have the opportunity to own and accelerate our growth in France, ensuring our French market is successful and delivers a delightful experience to our customers that we all feel proud of. The role is a combination of strategy, operational execution as well as commercial growth, analytics, marketing and team management.

Based in our lovely new offices in Vox Studios in Vauxhall, you’ll have the freedom to apply your initiative, expertise and experience to help realise our goals. This is a unique opportunity to join the UK’s second fastest growing tech startup and shape our France market and how that defines the next stage of our success.

Our opportunity suits a Country Manager/Market Manager who has a passion for growing international markets, ideally within start-ups.

THE ROLE

Country Management

* Provide ongoing review and development of the overall country strategy to ensure we hit our France growth ambitions.
* Owning and driving the performance of our France P&L, with a particular focus on the key metrics of new order volume, customer acquisition cost, repeat rate, gross margin and NPS

Operations

* Own our key operational metrics at country level, driving initiatives with our France Senior Operations and Customer Delight Associate to optimise delivery success rate and solve quality issues when they arise in our France market.
* Provide feedback on forecasting for the France market across peak and non-peak periods.
* Manage, at a high level, the relationships with key suppliers, including fulfilment partners and carriers
Work with our COO, Head of Expansion and France * Senior Operations and Customer Delight Associate on initiatives to further advance our operations in France.

Marketing and analytics

* Work closely with our France Marketing Manager to ensure the success of our marketing and PR in our France market.
* Use your strong quantitative skills to draw insight from our customer data that influences market decisions at a marketing and operational level.

Range and Product Management

* Deliver outstanding hands on project management of new range launches and seasonal rotation of product on our site.
* Optimising for local market trends you will work closely with our France Marketing Manager, France Senior Operations and Customer Delight Associate and our UK specialist teams (including our Ecommerce and Range Lead) to ensure success of our France range.
* Lead initiatives related to any additional revenue generating products, continually listening to the market, keeping abreast of local trends and preferences.
* Working closely with our customers listening to and understanding their needs to continually improve our customer journey.
* Work closely with our digital product and technology teams to refine the digital experience for French web and app users.

Team management

* Provide leadership to the France team (France Marketing Manager, France Senior Operations and Customer Delight Associate) to ensure a highly successful growth story in our France market – raise the profile of the great work the team are doing and ensure the team feel valued.

YOU

* You have a strong background in a growth oriented role, ideally in a start-up to include digital marketing, product, strategy and analytics.
* Strong track record of hitting targets and exceeding business expectations.
eCommerce experience would be an advantage.
* Previous P&L ownership is a plus but not a prerequisite.
* Ideally at least 5-7 years overall experience.
* Native French speaker, fluent English speaker.
* Meaningful and successful management experience.
* Flexible to travel when necessary (this role is based in London but frequent travel to France - likely 2 trips per month on average - will be required)
