How do overseas owners manage holiday homes in Graubünden?

Hi everyone,

My family and I will be relocating to Graubünden this November. I’m Swiss-American and previously lived and worked in the region for nine years.

For the past several years, I’ve helped operate a vacation-rental management company in Vermont, overseeing more than 35 properties. As I prepare to return, I’m curious how people who own holiday homes in Graubünden—but live elsewhere—handle property checks, maintenance, cleaning and guest support while they’re away.

Have you found it difficult to find reliable local help, or are there already good services available in the region?

I’m exploring whether my experience could be useful to international property owners once we arrive, but I’d first like to understand what owners actually need and how they currently manage their properties.
