looking for a long term rental maybe four months from middle of August

Hello everyone my husband Charlie and I are hoping to relocate to the Maritime and we would love to meet some new friends and language lessons that we can attend there, we do not have a house yet as Covid has made it impossible to get over and look for property which means we will need a longer  let or maybe our months or so to allow us to look and purchase a property, we are living in Scotland and have been in our home for over twenty years my husband is American and we just want a change of life, I have done a lot of research on the area and it seems perfect. We need to know every thing! banks taxes you name it, cost of living best markets, everything.
