Pregnancy in Brussels

Hi,

could you please share advice and tips about pregnancy in Brussels?

Who are the best gynecologists for pregnancy follow-ups?

Which hospitals or clinics would you recommend to give birth in Brussels?

Thanks a lot in advance for your advice !

I have a six month old and must recommend the following;
antenatalandbaby.org for a wonderful english speaking midwife.
Also englishdoctorbrussels.com are a husband and wife team who deal with childcare and womens health. My friends with babies have great things to say about St.Luc hospital and the english gynaecologist Dr.Hutchings who is based there.

Hi schoolmum,

sorry but it's not a "disguised" advert for Euromut. Even if it's true that "Welcome to Belgium!" is a sponsored platform by Euromut, all the information given is really helpful and complete.

I don't understand why I couldn't share a tip with some expats. I don't like to be moderated without explaination or only for suspicion.

I won't put the link if it's disturbing for you. I apologize about that point. But I think that website could help a pregnant woman to get to know more about the belgian system.

Kind regards

I didn't remove it, the moderator did, take it up with the moderator sorry. I can't even remember what was on the link now.
Hi, could we please avoid being :offtopic:

If any query, do not hesitate to contact us.

Thanks,

I am pregnant :) and lost in the jungle of information... 4 month, some checks already done but I don't have any idea about the femme sage (?) and giving the birth at Cavell hospital...

Educated and experienced but jobless... frustration ufff, life is hard for an expat who doesn't speak French very good... Anybody lost as well? Or just me?

CHS has a great booklet on pregnancy in Belgium.

BCT does pregnancy in Belgium seminars and also pre-natal courses.

Ante natal Pregnancy and Baby (not sure of exact name) also does pregnancy seminars.

Look up the weibsites for all of these. There is tons of good info out there, once you know where to look.
