Hi,

I have received my single permit and I am in the process of filling the form.

But some questions do not make any sense.

25.Duration of the intended stay or transit (number of days) ?

27.(Last) intended date of departure from the Schengen area ?

I will be working in Belgium as an engineer indefinitely so I am not sure what to write here.

Any clarification is appreciated

I was confused with this too, in the end I just ended up writing 1 year and had no issues

What about temporary accommodation details?.

Did you book something in advance and give the details?

yes it should be Airbnb or hotel reservation for at least 30 days, some friends told me that dummy booking works also

Hi I was also applying for Visa based on the Single Permit (Annex 46). As visa is still not granted so cant i simply put any near hotel to my company in accomodation randomly or i need to present the proof of booking

If this is your first Schengen visa application, put six months. The duration does not matter, as you will switch to a residence card once here.

I put a year. For accommodation Embassy requested from me temp accommodation and insurance 3 months minimum, maybe because it was during covid times with all travel restrictions.
