Hi!

Would like to ask those of you currently staying in Hanoi to give any tips, advice you have on anything you like/dislike about staying there as an expat? I am possibly relocating and would like to have some info. Thanks!

Absolutely not; currently I'm in Mauritius.

It is a nice and pleasant place to live, work and enjoy, i am sure.

I just visited Hanoi few days ago and agree that it is a nice place. Only thing is my actual office is in Thai Nguyen, 2 hrs away from Hanoi. That's putting me off majorly.

I guess you're working for a NGO project in Thai Nguyen, rite? There is nothing special in Thai Nguyen, I must say that, life here seems very quite and boring. Do you stay in Ha Noi in weekends?
