Generator & Scheduled Brown Outs

For 10 years I have been here just using Rechargeable Fans etc for Brownouts.

Finally after much research and comparison, utilizing my Google AI, I decided to choose a Greenfield GFK7000ise generator unit.

This is a very Quiet, 6000/6500w, Electric start, Inverter, Gasoline fueled unit.

Breaking in today, but so far very impressed.

After adding oil and fuel I hit the start and it fired up in literally 2 seconds.

After warming up I connected it to my newly installed Manual Transfer Switch.

I didn't turn anything off, flipped the switch and This thing didn’t miss a beat, thats with 3 fridges, a couple fans, AC, 2 water dispenser, couple wifi boxes, water pump, lights, tv’s etc.

Very satisfied, and since Batelic normally schedules a 12hr monthly maintenance,

it will definitely improve our lives here on those days.

Durability, I will wait and see,

I will do a 5hr break in with a Conventional Mobile One oil, drain and re-fill for a second 5hr break in before switching over to a Amsoil Synthetic.

Hopefully this will get me 5+ years out of it.

Fyi, Due to ethanol and poor fuel quality, running the carb dry and draining the tank after every use is a must to avoid future running issues and maintaining longevity without having to routinely remove and clean the carb. Maybe I will add some Sta-Bil to my fuel tanks if needed for long term storage but pump gas here should easily last 2-3 months before deteriorating to that degree.
