Jobs in Belize are generally reserved for Belizean citizens. Different story if you are recruited by a Belizean company. If you start a business, not a problem. If you can stay in country for a year and support yourself without working in Belize, then you can obtain permanent residency and apply for the same jobs as a Belizean.
So, no, you cannot easily get a job in Belize.
