I'm curious if I can work in Belize, nothing major, just play music in some places occasionally or help out here and there with side gigs. From what I'm reading the QRP doesn't allow any work. Is it possible to get a permit for things like I mentioned?

No..not without a work permit.

Entertainment has its own category, and lower fee. A solo application is only $600 but is limited to 1 week. I don't have any experience with that. As the original "gig economy" you'd hope entertainment would have expedited procedures.

I know many bars, and resorts have entertainers including locals, expat's and visitors all the time. I suggest you contact several to see how they Handel it.
