Hello,

Even if it looks familiar question, it's not answered in the forum.

For someone (a non-EU friend) who has ongoing valid single permit but employer ended the contract long before: how many days the person is eligible to stay? In how many days the person has to find a new job?

Thank you so much if you can share your thoughts or point out to some legal source/document. Too much confusion regarding this matter.

thanks. do you know any source? Or someone told you? ex-HR of my friend told them at the time of receiving single permit that it is valid to stay until expiration without binding with the work contract.
of course, on the basis of finding a new job.

best of luck for looking for a new job. do you mind to say which permit did you have?
my friend did not receive any letter/mail and the permit is valid still for 1 year
