Non Eu driving license in Belgium

Hi all,

I came to Belgium almost a year ago as an Expat and I realized that I need to start driving.
I didn't have a license in my home country Tunisia.
I was planning to use my holidays and go to my home country and try to finish driving lessons.

Do you know since I'm currently living in BE would my license obtain in Tunisia in the meantime be eligible for Belgium?
They will accept to exchange it for a Belgian one?

hope that you can help

Thank you

No, because you need to have received your driving license before coming in Belgium (meaning: before getting a national number --> a temporary / ID card).
You just told us you've been an expat for a year, so you already have an ID card...

So you'll not be able to request a Belgium driving license based on your Tunisian one.

Indeed. The acquisition date of your home country driving license must be before the date of your first entry to Belgium to establish residence.
