Resignation query

Hi All,

I am looking for some advice. I have decided to resign from my current job here in Abu Dhabi. HR have said after the last working day they will need to settle the final payment which could take up to 10 working days and after this is sorted and signed I will then be able to leave. My question is can you leave Abu Dhabi during those days you are waiting for the final payment or do you have to be in the country and it's a case of you can't leave?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Hanna,

You can leave but you should come back so that they cancel your visa. I would recommend you to stay until everything is sorted unless you have to leave urgently, then speak to them and explain your position.
