Short Term Residence Visa

Hi

I'm coming to Turkey in mid July until mid October and my trip will take me 1 day over the 90 days. Is it worth me applying for a short term residence permit for only being 1 day over? The last thing I want is to have any problems when leaving or being hit with a fine etc.

yes, as far as i know, there will be penalty which you can still leave the country without paying it, but also there will be a prohibition of entry to the country, i dont know how long. i recommend you to have a research upon yr arrival and apply to governor's office for residence or migration office for visa extension if you dont have a chance to change yr flight date.
