What are the chances for a truly experienced, productive NES_Phonics teacher, to get hired in the UAE, without possessing either a degree, or TEFL cert.?

Knowing the fascination with degrees in this part of the world; slim to none.

However, if you get to the interview stage and they like you, then it does not matter.

Essentially what I am saying is that if you apply for jobs normally i.e. website etc; you are not likely to hear back from the recruiters. A way around that is to approach employers directly and try to have a conversation and use networks as well.
