Can anyone tell me how to register my business here in Brazil? These Post Office rates are crazy.

There´s usually a sector at a municipal building (prefeitura) that register and give you your CNPJ number...

Depending on the size of your business, I would register as a MEI ( Micro Enterprise )>
It can be done online at virtually zero cost.

Look for the local branch of a SEBRAE chapter.
