Two months in Malta and I already settled in. Lots of festivals and feasts, some are excellent others are not. Does anyone have any experience with this festival?

I could just go and find out for myself, but too "off" this weekend to experiment (AKA lazy)

Thank you!

Haven't been myself but my wife went last year and loved it.

Should be very nice if you're keen to try different wines - the wristband/credit system is perfect.

Perfect! Thank you Janark!

Went yesterday and absolutely loved it! Much, much better than the Marsovin one - better organised, food options cheaper, fresher and tastier, hardly any queues at the tasting stands with friendly staff, more space to walk around (Hastings Gardens were so crammed with bottlenecks that you couldn't get through at times). There was also a place where you could rinse your glass with water to have it fresh again. The glass itself is sturdier than the Marsovin one and it was clean when we bought it (Marsovin full of fingerprints and dust).

We arrived around 8pm and it was not busy at all, great band playing, lovely sunset views. By around 10pm it was quite packed but still a great atmosphere. If you like it quieter and classy come at 7 and leave around 9.30pm. Value for money is excellent and the tasting measures are extremely generous. They were actually more like half a glass! I often told them to just pour me a third of that so I could actually go round and taste more (can't drink more than 3 full glasses then I'm pretty much drunk :-p).

Enjoy!

Blackangelheart Thank you! Will check it out in a bit
