Hi,

As an expat living in South Africa, what would you advise the ones about to pack to bring along?

What are the items you can easily find in South Africa? On the other hand, what is less common or quite expensive?

Share with us what you would recommend to bring in ones suitcase or container when moving to South Africa.

Hi, For Brits I suggest 4 or 6 gang Extension leads as SA homes have 240v but often have few points and round plugs..particularly for computer (more expensive here) stuff with transformers. TVs and VIdeos may not work in SA!!. If you like Ikea type stuff bring it with you and your car / van if you've had it 5+ years as expensive in SA
