I would like to ask if anybody knows where I can read the rules for work permit if I'm a wife of a Saudi citizen. My husband keeps in mind that I'm not allowed to work for 5 years here.

You can work legally, even WITHOUT transferring your iqama to your employer. Who said you cannot?!

Being a Saudi citizens' wife , you don't need to transfer your sponsorship .
Well after 5 years basically you get your Saudi Passport and then Bingo
