Transfer from Riyadh to Doha

I am an Engineer working in Riyadh and my IQAMA states I am an engineer. Just recently I received a job offer in Doha. My contract will expire in July and my company won't allow resignation. I really want to transfer to DOHA, can anyone guide me on how to solve my dilemma? (i.e., what visa I need to apply for? Or can I go to DOHA as an engineer on a visit visa and then process my working visa there?
