im new immigrant from india. i live in richmond. its a wonderfull experience here for me. i got job also as a machinist. nice weather and nice people around. loving starbucks coffee....

Hope you're enjoying Richmond, it's a wonderful city. I lived there for twenty-eight years before coming to Brazil over eleven years ago now. Just now remembering the Canada Day celebrations and Steveston Salmon Festival every July 1st. Still can't get the taste of the BBQ salmon out of my mind... wow. I have many wonderful memories of Sunday brunches at the Charthouse Restaurant on Steveston Wharf, looking out over the water, relaxing and even treated to the sight of the occasional Harbor Seal cavorting in the water around the docks; or lazy summer afternoons spent sitting at the lagoon in Minoru Park watching the ducks.
