Hi,

can a foreigner buy property in Tunisia?

If so, is it complicated? What is the process of purchasing a property in Tunisia?

Any tips for buying property, such as a check-list of items to verify ?

Thanks in advance for participating!

Hi,
I know foreigners who bought a piece of land in Tunisia. It was long and I know that they needed a special authorization from the governor of the town where they would have lived.
I know also that they were with a group of other  foreigners asking for this special operations. And these one succeeded also in buying their own property.
Please forgive my english, I didn't practice since the college :)

clumberdog

We bought a property and after going through three solicitors were recommended one who works in both Tunis and Sousse. He used skype to keep us up to date with everything when we were in Uk and was really fantastic. We are one of only two couples here on our Island who have their own names on our property.
