Renewal of Premium Visa

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone has renewed their premium visa and if this is straight forward?

It's hard to renew, this is the case for me, they asked me for documents that I had already sent

Have you received a renewal or are you still waiting?

Thanks for replying, interested to know if you can renew and how many times you're allowed to.

renewed twice already, very straightforward. you will need to provide similar documents as the first application.

@expat47 thanks for the reply really helpful. 263a.svg

Hi everyone,

Do you have to leave the country to "activate" the renewal or will the period just extended to another year after first entrence?

Hi guys,

Administration here is quite a nightmare ! I personaly recommend you [link moderated], they are specialist in permit obtention ! They will answer all your questions and they can help you obtain a renewal !

@mail61

I am about to renew my Premium Visa for the second time (heading into my third year in Mauritius).

Before renewing the first time, I left Mauritius for about a month.

I have never seen anything that says we are required to leave temporarily.

I have sent an email to [email protected] and asked for a formal answer. I'll let you know if I receive a useful reply.

To see a web page that pretends to show the status of your visa application, go here: https://business.edbmauritius.org/wps/p … ome/login/

Click on the "Your Area" link (in the menu along the top of the page).

Click on the "New Applications in Progress" tile.

In the "Application Type" column of the data table at the bottom of the screen, click on your visa application. (In my case the link says, "Premium Visa".)

This will expand into a detailed view of which documents you've sent, and the current status of your application (e.g.: "Awaiting Verification").

Both of my previous applications still say "Awaiting Verification", though, so that information is unhelpful.

@mail61 no you dont need to go out of the country
