Hello Team Member,

I was offered a permanent job in Kuwait and planning to bring along both my wife and daughter once I started working in Kuwait.

However, I would like to confirm the current situation with the visa for them since I hear from a friend that the Kuwait Government is suspending all family visa at the moment.

Is it really the situation over there?

Dear Muzakkir Aziz,

Unfortunately, your friend is right in this regard. As of today, Kuwait is yet to open Family Visa Applications.

That's correct, I'm also going through work permit process and my employer has stated clearly that the family visas are not being issued indefinitely, until the govt announces.

I think there's been a political resentment over immigration with proportion of local population to expat was historical low.

Gotta wait and see, otherwise gotta learn to survive without family.
