Finally arrived in Encarnacion

After several backpacking journeys of South America including 3 visits to Paraguay, and Encarnacion in particular, I am now in town and looking for a place to live. So, any other expats here in Enc? Would be great to meet-n-greet.

I will also want to talk to somebody here in town about the requirements and any issues around applying for residency (I'm retired).

Hi ChipW. Encarnación is where we would like to emigrate to in 2025. 100% coming to visit at the minimum. So would love to chat with you and connect. We are currently in England.

Ok, it would be nice to hear from some expats who live in this town. I do understand, since I'm also an expat now for 11+ years, that most expats tend to stay away from pretty much everyone, but still, people - coffee? Chat? What's the problems? (it was the same in Colombia and Peru)

Yes, let's make a group of expats who meet to chat, have a drink and snacks thus spend quality time together.

We are in Asunción now and in few days we will move to Encarnacion. If you are looking for residency fixer, I can give you contact to our imigration lawyer - we pass the first part of immigration procedure and witing for our TR card now.
