any SENTRI experts out there?

I've got my SENTRI card and I registered my car a month ago. I see confirmation that my car was approved by SENTRI on their website however SENTRI neglected to mail me any kind of paperwork. I'm planning on doing some exploring in northern Baja soon but I'm a little nervous about getting back into San Diego without reentry hassle. Should I be concerned?

We just came back last month in the same situation and our first time after getting the car approved and driving it.

No hassles. I fully expected to get the inspection the first time coming back, but nope. Took less than 30 seconds, except for th 80 minutes it took to get to the booth. We crossed at Otay and traffic was backed up for miles getting into the SENTRI lane. It was a Tuesday at 9:00AM. I don't think it's normally that bad, but will be doing San Ysidro next time. I also found a site that has live feed video cameras of the crossings. It charges a month $1 fee so I'll wait until we go next time.

Just remember to roll down all the windows on the booth side and take off your sunglasses.

Ready pass! I'm confused. I understand that the ready lane allows you to get back into the U.S. quicker. And this requires i.d. with an RFID chip. I've read that our passports now contain an RFID chip. But I read that to use the ready lanes you need a "passport card" with an RFID. So the RFID in the passport is not enough!? And what is a passport "card" and where do you get one?

I guess this is the right place to ask this.
