How is life generally in Al Ain?

Hi,

There is a chance that we may be moving to Al Ain with a 10 year old. We lived in Dubai for 4 years but have been back in the UK for the last 5 years. I am skeptical about moving our child to Al ain at this age, with concerns of settling into school etc. How is life generally in Al Ain, for a family with young kids? Is it generally easy to find a job there? My background is Law/Finance/Academia.
