Dear All,

I have recently asked from my employer to visit the centre for a re medical test.

Im worried if any thing goes wrong.

this medical centre looks different from other Salem locations, see bunch of low wage workers, and looks like it’s a centre for HIV and TB disease.

i have been in this country for over 2 years now and within 2 years I have undergone 3 medical tests which I have successfully passed and declared fit because I changed jobs.

previous medical I gave it in month of October 10 2024 which was declared fit, now

i have joined a new employer and last week went for the medical, thinking everything would be fine and suddenly got a call from the PRO team that I need to visit the centre for a re medical tests.

im literally scared and worried don’t know why this happened to me.

we had a joining team batch of 15 staffs in the same company and all went at a same time for the medical tests but out of all I have been asked to go for a re medical tests.

can anyone tell me on this

Hi,

There could be a few reasons for the re-test. Commonly, the blood sample must have got lysed ("spoilt") in which case cannot do the test. Also, the sample must have been lost/misplaced/not labeled. As your previous checks have been normal, and unless there is high risk behaviour, nothing to be worried usually.

So just keep fingers crossed, ask as to why re test (may not tell you the reason).
