If your employer assures the Dubai Authorities that you will go home voluntarily after the diagnosis you will be given 1 week maximum to prepare your things and leave (this is after all the process of deportation like iris scan and etc. biometric prints and etc.) this is based on my experience before. Its a case to case basis depending on how the employer handle the case. My employer is very helpful and assured the authorities that I will go home. 😊
