Job offer in kuwait city

Hi everyone, I am a spanish architect with 10 years experience, being offered a god job in the construction area in kuwait city.
Can you advise about expectations of salary, nice areas to live in, kind of prices for renting apartment...??
I have many doubts and would like to know about experiences there.
I've heard that social life is a bit quiet in kuwait. I am also concern about the safety there, as many arab countries are going through troubles at the moment....

there are no problems in kuwait, the problems are in egypt, tunis, libya, bahrain, syria, lebanon, jordan and yemen.

how about you share your offer and other architects using the website can tell u whether that is good or not? coz that would be easier, anyone can throw a figure right now and not even be in architecture. plus, different companies have different pay scales, and in kuwait, its not ur base salary that matters but your package, health insurance, allwances etc.
