Swiss Schengen Visa for Vietnamese Citizens – Any Recent Experiences?

I'm from Vietnam and currently planning a holiday to Switzerland. I'm hoping to visit places such as Zurich, Lucerne and Interlaken and experience the beautiful Swiss scenery.

I'd love to hear from other Vietnamese travellers or expats who have recently applied for a Swiss Schengen tourist visa. How was the application process? Were there any particular documents or requirements that you found challenging?

I'm also researching practical travel arrangements, including transport, accommodation and staying connected while exploring different cities. I've been looking at options such as local SIM cards and travel eSIMs, including Eterna, as I would like to have internet access for maps, train schedules and translation during the trip.
