Permesso di soggiorno first receipt

Hi,

I have register for Permesso di soggiorno with Lavoro Sobordianto in Italy and I wait for Permesso di soggiorno with receipt.

Since I have multi visa that is valid for a year, during waiting time can I exit Schengen area for a week?
