Annexe 32 form

Adeyola

Good day guys,
I trust you are all keeping well.

So I think I finally figured it out, the official document of "Prise en charge" required.

It is the same ANNEXE 32 completed by the financial  guarantor for the student! BUT this time to be filled differently ( take note) because you have to include the names of the children and the spouse (the guarantor, in this case my husband) as well as the student (me) in Belgium.

In the first instance, for my visa application I didn't need to fill in the names of the kids and spouse because I knew they couldn't go with me immediately and the validity of the Annexe 32 is 6 months, so it doesn't make sense to fill an annexe 32 ling before the home office will start working on the family reunification application which for which they have about 6months.

So my husband will just go ahead fill the annexe 32 and take it for legalisation (take note) the Annexe 32 is not valid without legalization!
Remember to take along these documents when going for the legalization
1. Last three months salary slip or last three months bank statement
2. Livret de famille (family composition): this shows the total number of family members to be cared for in Belgium; this help the Home Office to calculate the expected total sum the guarantor should be earning in order to fulfill his obligation
3. ID card (eg. International passport)
4. And of course the duly completed annexe 32 form

For legalisation of Annexe 32 for my own student visa, we didn't need to include no. 2. We only took along, no 1. And 3 and 4. The officer at the legalization office will scan all the docs for their future reference.

I stand to be corrected in all these. So please feel free to share your thoughts and let's help others take productive decisions.

Thank you Alex for your efforts.

Cheers everyone ☺️

Lest I forget,

Since I the inviting person, am not the one filling and signing the annexe 32 that LL be legalized, I will then send an invitation letter bearing my resident address for each of the kids and spouse. This to authenticate to the immigration office that I am definitely expecting to receive them and accommodate them.

It is possible for a spouse to change the mind upon arriving Belgium not to accommodate kids and hubby so I think an invitation letter from the family member in Belgium is a good supporting document in this case.

oh oh oh, wait...
just got the time to read your thread right now.

As you're a student that would like to do a family reunion with your children in Belgium and your husband is likely to do a visa C to visit you "from time to time" (he's also your financial guardian that let you stay in Belgium), you must completely forget about the formal obligation (annexe 3bis (resident that invite and pay everything) and annexe 32 (someone pay everything for a student))

As you're currently a student in Belgium, you don't have a job that give your regular incomes ==> you can't be a financial guardian to invite someone.
You must have a stable job for that, and get at least +/- 1600€ per month after tax.

Your husband can NOT fill the annexe 32 for his own visa request or even the children. Annexe 32 is only to say: I'm going to pay everything for """this""" student when he/she's in Belgium.
You can't say: I'm my own financial guardian! He just show money that he can take care of himself!!!

The validity of the document to USE in Belgium is 6 months. (visa process + to cross the border + get the resident card to proof you've enough incomes per month and that our government will never spend 1€ for you)
The validity of the agreement that someone is going to pay everything for you is 2 years.

The only thing you can do is to write an invitation letter toward your husband/children, that you invite them at your place to stay & sleep.
Meaning that for your husband, as he will come on a visa C if he receive it, he'll only need to justify 45€ per day of stay, instead of 95€.
The money on his bank account will determine how many day he can stay in Belgium under a visa C.

Example: he has 2000€ on his bank account.
2000 / 45 = 44.44 days
He can basically request maximum 44d of stay in Belgium.
I simplify the thing, he can of course come on the 28th of the month and get his salary the 1st, you do get the point and what I mean.

Wao, this is so informative Alex.

I understand everything perfectly. Yes I will send them a letter of invitation. Visa C ( visitor visa) for hubby, Visa D for the kids. And thanks for reminding about the £45 per day thing, I had read about it a long time ago but now will keep it in my memory.

Truly grateful.
