Hi all,


My employer wants us to travel to Belgium to attend a team event, and I need to apply for a Schengen Business Visa. Could anyone who has been through this recently share:


How long the processing actually took for you (not just the official "15 days" estimate)? after submitting the application and VFS appointment


My travel date is coming up soon, so I want to plan the application with enough buffer. Any recent first-hand experience would really help.

Each case is different, wshile the baseline administration estimate is 15 calendar days from when the embassy receives your file, real-world turnaround times after a VFS Global appointment typically range from 10 to 30 calendar days, and can stretch to 45 days if the file gets forwarded to the Immigration Office in Brussels (FPS/IBZ) for further checks.
