For such a small country Austria has quite few music festivals. The largest being The Donauinselfest

The Donauinselfest (German for Danube Island Festival) is an open-air free music festival taking place annually at Donauinsel in Vienna, Austria. It usually takes place in mid or end of June. Only in 2008, the event was scheduled in September in order to prevent clashing with the European Football Championship, which was co-hosted by Austria. With over 3 million visitors in 3 days, it's the biggest open-air music festival of the world, it's also free to attend.

The FM4 Frequency Festival, also Frequency Festival or just Frequency, formerly Vienna City Festival, is a music festival. Until 2008, it took place near Salzburg Austria, usually every August. In 2009, the Festival moved to St. Pölten. It is promoted by one of Austria's national radio stations, FM4, and is generally associated with the alternative part of mainstream music. The lineups accumulate acts of various genres such as rock, electronica and hip hop, usually covering great parts of the German and Austrian alternative, indie and guitar pop scenes, but also featuring well-known international top-acts.

Rock in Vienna is a music festival organized by Blue Moon Entertainment , which took place on the Danube Island in Vienna for the first time from 4 to 6 June 2015 . The event was the first rock festival in the city of Vienna.

The Nova Rock Festival, also just Nova Rock, is a music festival that has existed since 2005 and takes place each year in June. It is located in Burgenland, the easternmost federal state of Austria, near Nickelsdorf and the Hungarian and Slovak borders.

Jazz Fest Wien or Vienna Jazz Festival is a jazz festival in Vienna, held annually at the end of June and beginning of July since 1991. An international festival, in 2007 it was attended by some 60,000 spectators. It is now considered one of the world's top jazz festivals.

The Wiener Festwochen (Vienna Festival) is a cultural festival in Vienna that takes place every year for five or six weeks in May and June. The Wiener Festwochen (Vienna) was established in 1951, when Vienna was still occupied by the four Allies. The opening of the Wiener Festwochen is an open-air event with free admission held in the square in front of Vienna’s City Hall.
Each year the festival attracts about 180,000 visitors.

There are lots of others, I really could not possibly list them all. Especially in wine growing areas, each town has some kind of a wine fest, where local wine makers sell their wine, entertainment is put on with food stalls.
