Advice needed: Should I start my teaching career in Thailand?

you write pretty well, I do not see why you can't get a job teaching English in Thailand!!

It may well be difficult for the reasons you already mention. That said TEFL course providers often help find placements. Maybe an inquiry with your chosen provider(before you spend money on the course)might throw some light on your chances of working as an English teacher.
