Has the COVID-19 crisis split your couple life?

Veedushi

Hello everyone,

I hope you're doing well.

The COVID-19 crisis, unfortunately, is keeping many expat couples apart. Are you currently stranded abroad and far away from your spouse/partner? Or are you longing for them to come back home?

We would love to hear from you and publish your testimonies in our Expat Mag.

Feel free to get in touch with me.

Have a great day!

Warm regards,
Veedushi

Nope no issues. Since I am the expat and I married a local Indonesian woman, we are together pretty much 24/7 along with our kids.

Nope, I live in Bali with my companion and I was not gonna run.away and abandon her because of a simple virus.

Ive been working from home since March (indonesia) recently returned from 17 days in the Middle East (work related)
If anything its made our family closer and none of us thought that was even possible as we are crazy close anyway, its been harder to keep kids entertained but on the plus side i shipped over board games etc from when i was a kid that my friend purchased for me in the UK and i posted from the Middle east, i still cheat at manopoly after all these years
Son now rides a bike, bed time stories (i finish my day at decent times)
On flip side some friends i know cant return as they had been working overseas and no hope soon of seeing kids or wife anytime soon, im told marriage kitas is a possibility as some embassy are opening
