Moving to Baramati (near Pune)

I live in Italy and I am planning to move to Baramati. Since I have never been in India, I would greatly appreciate if you can fill me in about this town or any big city close to it such as Pune.

Hi,
In Maharashtra Pune and Mumbai are the top cities, other than these two Thane, Nashik, Nagpur serving as a districts. I hope pune is the best place for you. Most of the IT Industry located here.
