Hi all. I'm a contract worker for a US-based company. Working as a self-employed here in Ukraine.
My husband got an offer from NL-company and we will move to the Netherlands soon.

How to register in the NL to continue work as a contractor?

Hi and welcome to the Forum.

There are different rules related to working as self-employed in the Netherlands.  The Dutch Government have a department known as the Kamer van Koophandel, probably best if you speak to them in the first instance; this link will take you straight to their website.

Some things you need to check:

The Ukraine is not a member of the EU; will your visa permit you to work in the Netherlands?
How will your employer pay your payroll taxes and medical insurance costs?

Hope that helps.

Thank you for your reply. I will contact KVK

I will have a dependant visa, so would be allowed to work in NL (as far as I know).

All taxes and insurance I should cover myself. I'm not an employee, so the company doesn't manage this. In Ukraine, I'm working as an Entrepreneur and pay everything on my own side,  so I hope to do something similar in NL.

P.S.
I've contacted KVK, here is their response - It is possible and they ask me to check these links:

Hi again.

Excellent; my only question would be do they have a similar link for non-EU citizens.
