Screw metal on ankle - airport security matters

Hi all. I broke my left ankle last 2020 and the doctors put steek metal in my ankle to fix my broken bone. Next week will be the first time I have to travel with new hardware. I am wondering how hassel this is going to cause me? There is a huge scar down my ankle where it can find. Should I get medical records? Will the airport security stop me? Thanks.

Advisable to take a medical certificate. Also, it would be better if you can inform the security people before passing through the metal detector. I don't think they will have any issues. Have a nice & safe trip.
