Due to government's relief my husband's iqama expiry date has extended from 12 April till 11 July. But still he is getting messages from bank to pay for his dependant fees otherwise his bank account will be dormant. What should he do in this case? Should he pay dependant fees now? Plz reply it's urgent

Tell him to go to bank and give them the print of absher page where the extention date of iqama expiry is mentioned.

Extending the validity of iqama work permit and frozen of bank account are two different thing.

Your bank account will be frozen if you fail to update the bank that your work visa (iqama) has been extended already its validity period. All you have to do is print the copy of your iqama extension and visit the bank office and ask bank representative to update the validity period of your work visa (iqama) residency record in their banking system.
