Good day everyone.. Is anybody here experience same. Case with mine.. Me and my husband get married in Norway but before that 8 years ago he was divorced with his x wife and his x wife is from the Phil.. Since we get married I applied for family immigration last July and just this January I got a denied because according to udi my spouse is still married from the country where the marriage was taken.. Is there anyone here experience same situation I really need your tips for the application, we plan to apply again and hope next time it will work out. We had tried to contact lawyers about the case but they said recognition for foreign divorce can only be done by her Filipina spouse not his.. And besides his x wife is already a Norwegian citizen also and she doesn't want to cooperate in the divorce procedure even in the annulment if we left no option. Me and my husband also had a baby but when I applied last July from family immigration we didn't document that we are soon having a baby since that time I am still pregnant. Hope to hear from anyone who can give me tips and advices thank u and I wish u well.
