Hmmmmmm. My answer is not really! 

However there are countless often silly superstitions! 

That list is endless! 

You can't open the fridge after ironing or you will die.

You can't shower or bath when your feet are hot or you will die!

I have dozens and will add more as we go along....

Women don't set their pocketbooks on the floor because all the money will run out and away.

ChristieE, this is something common in the Balkans as well. A really odd and funny superstition.
