Moving from Dubai to Riyadh-Packer and Mover

Post new topic

Hi All,

I am currently working with my company in Dubai. Now, I have got an internal transfer and my company is moving me to Riyadh, KSA. I live in Dubai in a furnished apartment and i Riyadh also I will find furnished only once I reach there. My question is how much the packers and movers usually charge to ship my baggages (just clothes/kitchen utensils/daily need stuff etc.) from Dubai to Riyadh? Is it a good idea to hire packers and movers at all? Can I opt for a courier service and will they deliver such kind of stuff? The total weight would be around 50-60 KG only.

FYI, I can not carry all the stuff as I have to fly to India, get my visa stamped there, and then fly to Riyadh and I do not want to carry along unnecessary stuff with me.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Thank You

For 50-60 kg, it is better to send it air freight.  Check dnata and Emirates cargo.

It is faster but more expensive than sea freight.  However, you have too little stuff to warrant sea freight as that is on container basis so may work out to be a lot more expensive than air freight.

Normal courier would be too expensive.
