As mentioned on the subject, Google+ is no longer available for personal and brand accounts. I am writing this topic because Google+ link is mentioned here(footer)
It is time to remove Google+ link from the website

They did try to take on Facebook but without any luck, a shame because there needed to be an alternative to Facebook. I did have a Google + account but rarely used it as I hated the platform layout.

I used G+ daily till it's EOL.

They do care, but the Tech team are very slow, I am still waiting for the Channel Islands to be added as a destination. I asked a few years ago
